Day Five - History in the Shadows

I can not deny the history of this place.  It is in every log wall, squeak in the floor, and dust on the sills.  As I sit in my new home office, I wonder what history we will add to this amazing and wonky old place.  I can hardly wait.

Day Four - A Swinging Good Time

I chased a kid around the backyard today.  The leaves are beginning to blanket the ground, but the air is still warm.  I need to find the rakes so we can rake then swing and jump into the piles.  What fun this will be.

Day Three - A Silo

What is a girl to do with an old silo?  It makes for a great pic on a warm Fall day, but what else?  A little online research revealed a few solutions:  build a house around it, add turrets for a medieval flare, create a good old fashion Rapunzel tower, stick a telescope in it and call it an observatory.  This challenge is getting fun.

Day Two - Choose Your Friends Wisely

Was able to spend a few minutes with a friend named Little Dog.  He is very affectionate and wanting for behind the ear scratches.  He is a true and devoted friend to his human.  I wish people could be so trustworthy, loving, and loyal.  If they could, I wonder how the world might look.

Day One - A Photo Essay Challenge

The weather is still warm as I begin this journey to photo essay my life for 32 days.  Life is full of change of late, and I expect to respond with faith, hope, and diligence.  This old tree, in a new yard, next to a new home represents that change and this challenge to take a photo a day is new and exciting.
